Our Sunday morning worship service is the heartbeat of Cristo Viene Baptist Church. Every week, we gather as a congregation to praise God through music, hear the preaching of His Word, pray together, and celebrate the Lord's Supper. The service is led with reverence, warmth, and a commitment to welcoming everyone — from the longtime member to the first-time visitor.
Our worship team leads the congregation in a blend of contemporary praise and timeless hymns, all selected to exalt Christ and engage the whole congregation. Sermons are expository, verse-by-verse teachings drawn from both the Old and New Testaments, designed to equip believers for life beyond Sunday.

We believe that investing in children and youth is one of the most strategic and important things a church can do. The faith formed in young hearts today is the foundation upon which tomorrow's church is built. Our children's and youth ministries are designed to make that investment with care, creativity, and intentionality.
Sunday Kids Church runs simultaneously with the adult service and offers age-appropriate, biblically rich teaching for children from birth through Grade 6. Our trained and background-checked volunteers create a safe, joyful environment where kids can explore faith, build friendships, and discover who they are in Christ.
Youth Group gathers every Friday evening at 6:30 PM for worship, teaching, games, and community. Teens are met where they are — with honesty, humour, and the unchanging truth of the Gospel — and are discipled toward lives of authentic faith and leadership.
Real community happens in small spaces. Our small groups meet throughout the week in homes across Abbotsford, bringing together believers for Bible study, prayer, and authentic relationship.

Our worship team is a group of talented, devoted musicians and vocalists committed to leading the congregation into the presence of God each week. Rehearsals are held weekly and new members who share a heart for worship and a love for God are always welcome to inquire about joining.
The worship team serves not merely as performers but as worship leaders — guiding the entire congregation in an encounter with the living God through song, prayer, and Scripture.
We believe that prayer is the engine of everything the church does. Our prayer ministry coordinates weekly intercession, provides pastoral prayer for those in need, and hosts monthly prayer nights where the whole congregation is invited to seek God together.
Prayer request cards are available every Sunday, and our prayer team commits to praying over every request received — believing that our God hears and answers the prayers of His people.

Our congregation includes many beloved members in their senior years — men and women whose wisdom, faithfulness, and prayers are an irreplaceable gift to the whole church family. Our seniors ministry provides regular gatherings, home visits, transportation assistance, and fellowship opportunities designed to honour and serve this cherished generation.
Pastoral care at Cristo Viene extends to every member of the congregation. Our pastoral team is available to provide counselling, prayer, hospital visitation, marriage support, and spiritual guidance to anyone navigating difficult seasons. We believe that no one should walk through life's hardest moments alone, and we are committed to being present with our congregation through every trial and triumph.
