Food insecurity is a growing challenge in the Fraser Valley, affecting families, seniors, and individuals across every demographic. Cristo Viene Baptist Church operates a regular food assistance program that provides nutritious groceries, prepared meals, and emergency hampers to households in need throughout Abbotsford and the surrounding area.
Distribution takes place through our fellowship hall, where recipients are welcomed with dignity and warmth. We partner with local food banks, grocery partners, and generous community members to ensure that our shelves remain stocked and our doors remain open to all who come. No application process, no judgment — just practical love extended in the name of Jesus.

Our pastoral team offers listening, prayer, and biblically-grounded guidance for individuals and couples facing marital challenges, grief, anxiety, parenting struggles, and other life difficulties. Where specialized support is needed, we maintain a network of trusted professional counsellors and community organizations to whom we make compassionate referrals.

Trained volunteers visit isolated seniors in their homes and in care facilities, providing companionship, prayer, and the reminder that they are valued, loved, and not forgotten.
